A Gaming Blog from Darlinghurst

Where dice, dungeons & jazz meet after midnight.

Long-form CRPG reviews, tabletop campaign diaries and dungeon-master toolkits — written slow, played hard, and served like a late set at a smoky Sydney lounge.

What our readers say.

"The Baldur's Gate 3 deep dive was the only review that actually explained the reaction economy. I subscribed before I finished reading."

"I run a Thursday table in Melbourne off their printable maps. The encounter tables saved me hours of prep every single week."
Daniel K. — Fitzroy, Melbourne · January
"The Amethyst Crypts diary reads like a novel. Voting on the party's next move each week makes me feel like I'm at the table."

Questions from the front row.

Do I need to play tabletop RPGs to enjoy the blog?

Not at all. Roughly half our readers are CRPG players who never touch dice, and the reviews stand on their own. The DM toolkit and campaign diaries are there when you're ready to run your own table.

How often do you publish?

A long-read lands every Thursday, with two full deep-dive reviews each month. Campaign diary entries follow our live session schedule, usually within 48 hours of the table wrapping up.

Can I cancel my membership any time?

Yes — every tier is month-to-month with no lock-in, managed from your account page. If you cancel you keep access until the end of the paid period, and your downloaded toolkits are yours to keep.

Can I visit the Crown Street table?

Guild-tier members are invited to open play nights at our Darlinghurst space a few times a season. Seats are limited to eight, so we release invitations by email — reply to any newsletter to add your name to the list.
